Dental Cleanings

Just as in humans, good dental hygiene is essential in the overall health of your pet.  Poor dental health can lead to serious health problems, and sometimes even death. And we at KVC are here to help your dog, cat, and horse maintain good dental and overall health.

Good dental hygiene is important at any age, and we recommend that your pet's teeth and gums be checked at least once a year, or more if you have concerns.  Contact our office today to schedule a dental cleaning or tooth extraction, especially if you notice prolonged bad breath, abscesses in and around the gums, broken teeth, or a decrease in your pet's desire to eat.  Some dental procedures may require the use of anesthesia, which our staff will discuss with you.  And you can learn more about the importance of proper dental care for your pet at
